You know, when you think about it, God's just like most storytellers; he doesn't give the whole thing away until the end. The last chapter, the series finale, the final movie. He's saving some answers until the end, isn't he?
It can be a frustrating thing. A really, really frustrating thing. You get yourself all worked up about what's right and wrong, what's going to happen next, why this particular thing happened or why this other one didn't. And then, usually, you stop, take a breath, and feel terrible for questioning Him.
Because what gives us the right to question Him?
But we're human, and we don't understand. We're somewhat the equivalent of what Harry Potter would be like if he knew J. K. Rowling existed and was in control. Okay, odd comparison. But still.
God's sort of like the Ultimate Storyteller, don't you think? And that can be scary, because I don't know about you, but the majority of stories I've heard aren't exactly smooth sailing for the characters.
But like any good storyteller, He also cares for His characters. Happily-ever-afters are in store. The final chapters will be revealed. And you know what? I believe it's much more beautiful than anything our minds could quite possibly imagine.
